Recelogic recently launched a testing system for the Driver Status Monitoring (DSM) function, which is based on 100Hz VBOX 3i, high-definition video data acquisition HD2, and visual/audio alarm signal sensors to meet the requirements of Euro NCAP 2023 DSM testing.

Taway - Driver triggered;

Tgaze - confirmation through video within the software;

Twain - Record through VBOX ADAS visual/audio sensor output or third-party 100Hz CAN input;

Speed, position, time and acceleration throughout the test.

The usual installation position of the camera inside the car is:

A driver with focused attention - eyes/head looking straight ahead of the road;

Gazing position;

Multi-function display (instrument panel) displaying alarm signals;

The user can choose a second gaze position for back and forth testing or looking forward for demonstration purposes.
