1. Overview of the Track Range System
Track Range is a ground truth testing system developed by Shanghai ZER Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., based on high-precision positioning technology. By collecting high-precision positioning data from the main vehicle (VUT), targets, and reference points on the road in real time, the system accurately calculates key parameters—such as relative distance, speed, attitude, and acceleration—between the vehicle and targets (or reference points) within the coordinate system of the main vehicle (VUT), delivering precise ground truth data.

The Track Range system enables real-time perception evaluation, providing a highly reliable benchmark for assessing the performance of sensors or perception systems.

It is widely applicable in the field of intelligent driving testing, facilitating standardized evaluation of ADAS/AD functions (e.g., AEB, ACC, LKA, NOA) and serving as a core testing tool throughout the R&D, acceptance, certification, and mass production validation stages of autonomous driving.
