On January 19, 2026, Xiaomi Automotive officially announced the results of the 24-hour endurance challenge for its new-generation SU7 Max: a cumulative driving distance of 4,264 kilometers. This achievement set a new global range record for pure electric vehicles in such challenges. Demonstrating "marathon-level endurance at sprint-like speeds," the feat highlights its top-tier prowess in three-core electric technology. Guangzhou Zeer Testing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zeer Testing") had the privilege of deeply participating in this extreme challenge, providing VBOX high-precision data recording equipment and exclusive on-site technical support throughout the process, using professional data to underpin the glory of this record.

The 24-hour endurance challenge took place from 22:10 on November 20, 2025, to 22:10 on November 21, 2025, on the 7.8-kilometer professional high-speed circular track at the Jiangsu Yancheng Automotive Proving Ground. During the challenge, the temperature varied significantly between day and night, with the daytime high reaching 13°C and nighttime temperatures nearing 0°C. The low-temperature environment further intensified the test of the vehicle’s performance and the stability of the testing equipment, adding multiple layers of difficulty to the challenge.

The challenge employed a mode where two Xiaomi SU7 Max vehicles started at intervals and operated alternately. Each vehicle maintained a high-speed driving state of 240 km/h throughout, alternating pit stops for recharging while continuing to race. Each charging session took only about 8 minutes, with a total of 44 charging cycles completed during the challenge. This uninterrupted cycle of "high-speed driving, rapid recharging, and sustained racing" not only comprehensively tested the SU7 Max’s high-voltage platform, super motor, and battery system but also rigorously examined core performance aspects such as the vehicle’s battery thermal management system, motor output stability, low-energy consumption control, and overall durability.

As an industry-standard device in automotive testing, VBOX was appointed the official data recording equipment for this challenge due to its exceptional precision and stability. With a speed accuracy of 0.1 km/h, distance accuracy of <0.05%, and time accuracy of 0.01 seconds, VBOX utilizes multi-constellation GNSS reception technology and stable data acquisition capabilities to simultaneously capture comprehensive parameters such as vehicle speed, distance, and attitude. It reliably and completely recorded all data throughout the 24 hours, covering every high-speed sprint and each rapid recharging cycle.

Leveraging nearly two decades of technical expertise and project experience in automotive testing, the Zeer Testing technical team ensured the stable operation of the equipment under harsh conditions, including significant day-night temperature variations and frequent operational switches. This laid a solid data foundation for the authority and accuracy of the challenge results.
The success of the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 Max in this extreme challenge not only confirms its leading position in the three-core electric technology field for pure electric vehicles but also fully validates the professional performance and reliable quality of VBOX products.
As a core testing device for Zeer Testing, VBOX has become the preferred tool for testing tasks among domestic automotive manufacturers and professional testing institutions. In the future, Zeer Testing will continue to provide optimal testing products and technical solutions, helping more automotive companies push technological boundaries and drive the high-quality development of the automotive industry.
