The algorithm for the target fuel consumption of passenger car models is as follows:
For passenger cars with three or fewer rows of seats, the fuel consumption target value of the vehicle model should be calculated according to equations (1) to (3), and the calculation result should be rounded to two decimal places:
If the curb weight of the vehicle CM is ≤ 1090, then T=2.57 (1)
If 1090<CM ≤ 2510, then T=0.0015 × (CM-1580)+3.3... (2)
If CM>2510, then T=4.70 (3)
In the formula:
T - Target fuel consumption of the vehicle model, in liters per hundred kilometers (L/100 km);
CM - curb weight of the vehicle, measured in kilograms (kg).
According to the new regulations, for vehicles with a total weight of ≤ 1.09 tons, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is within 2.57 liters; For vehicles weighing between 1.09 tons and 2.51 tons, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is within 4.7 liters; For vehicles with a total weight greater than 2.51 tons, the fuel consumption gauge per 100 kilometers is 4.7L. The target value of fuel consumption for passenger cars has put forward higher fuel economy requirements for fuel vehicles, which will inevitably lead to more energy and cost for various automobile manufacturers to improve fuel economy.
